96.0% purity amorphous silicon dioxide

Thanks to a high specific surface area (140 to 160 m2/g) and a high concentration of silanol groups on the surface, the product is perfect for use in auto tire manufacturing (up to 30% of the mass of the protector).

99.99% purity amorphous silicon dioxide

High-purity amorphous silicon dioxide is not produced in the Russian Federation and is 100% imported (4 to 5 thousand tons/year).

Toothpaste producers are the target market for the material.

Our technology supports two types of product: one with a specific surface area of 50 to 200 m2/g to be used in toothpaste as a mild abrasive; the other with a specific surface area of 200 to 650 m2/g to be used in toothpaste as a thickening agent.

Polycrystalline silicon

Polysilicon is used in photovoltaic panel manufacturing and in the production of electronic-grade monocrystalline silicon. Currently, there is no excess production capacity for solar grade poly-Si, while global photovoltaic panel manufacturing is growing at an accelerated rate.

PHT LLC is a Skolkovo resident.
In May 2016, a RUR5,000,000 grant was awarded to support the R&D effort.

The company’s team includes a research task force from the Chemistry Department
of Moscow State University.

High-alumina cement from sunflower seed ash

Ash from facilities running on sunflower seed shells can be used in the production of fertilizers or dry construction mixes.

The ash consists of oxides of potassium, calcium, iron, aluminum and silicon. The pH and chemical composition of ash (alum, silicates and carbonates) make it suitable for the production of specialized high-aluminous cements (HAC) for use in the construction industry.

HAC is used in the construction of bridges, dams, and subway tunnels. The distinguishing feature of this cement is its short curing period (3 days against 28 days for standard cement). Virtually no such cements are produced in Russia, the country’s needs met with imports at prices from USD1/kg (cements of the GORKAL line).

For several years, SPF EEM has been fruitfully cooperating with the team at the Center “NANOCHEMISTRY AND NANOMATERIALS” of the Chemical Faculty of Moscow State University. With the support of leading scientists of the Faculty of Chemistry, using one of the most modern equipment parks in Russia, Russian technologies are created and brought to the world level.
